The Higher Education Assistance Group, Inc. (HEAG) is actively seeking a Financial Aid Director level consultant that has utilized the PeopleSoft software platform. We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of recent, Director-level management and leadership experience in a dynamic, fast-paced Financial Aid Office. Prior financial aid consulting experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
The consultant must be able to fill an interim Director level position for a minimum of six months beginning in August 2023, with direct knowledge of Title IV compliance, NCAA athletic reporting and other federal, state and agency reporting. The candidate must demonstrate competency, be well versed in the administration of Financial Aid Programs and able to manage responsibilities in both strategic and functional capacities.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to manage and train staff, and office needs independently. The candidate must also have the ability to communicate complex compliance issues and other important issues to non-FA staff, including Institution executives. The candidate must be available for full-time hours. This is a mostly remote position that requires limited travel to the campus.
