Financial Aid Consultant – Ellucian Banner ERP Experience

The Higher Education Assistance Group, Inc. (HEAG) is actively seeking Financial Aid Consultants with a background in Ellucian Banner ERP to work with our higher education clients throughout the country. We are seeking candidates with at least five years of recent, direct responsibilities in a Financial Aid Office such as student customer service, packaging/awarding, R2T4 processing, reconciliation, and other daily tasks within an aid office. You do not need to have a background in all areas previously mentioned, please let us know which ones you have specialized in when completing the online application. Prior financial aid consulting experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

Consultants must be able to fill interim positions for a diverse base of client schools at the undergraduate and graduate levels, with direct knowledge of complex compliance issues. Candidates must be competent and well versed in the compliant administration of Title IV Student Financial Aid Programs and able to manage responsibilities in a strategic, yet functional capacity. Candidates must have at least two years of Ellucian Banner experience.

Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work independently in a mostly remote capacity. Contracted assignments can be both short and long term. Hours can also vary by assignment. We assign candidates based on their availability and place them to succeed within their strongest skill-sets and background in the school’s SIS utilization, which in this instance is Banner.

PowerFAIDS/Consultant

Job description

The Higher Education Assistance Group, Inc. (HEAG) is actively seeking consultants to work throughout the country who have utilized the PowerFAIDS software platform. We are looking for PowerFAIDS software specialists with a minimum of 5 years of recent experience in a Financial Aid Office setting to perform tasks such as Parameter Roll, Software upgrades, data exchange, management of funds, federal loan and grant processing, originations and disbursements. Successful candidates must demonstrate competency and be well versed in the administration of financial aid programs. Successful candidates will have expertise in the PowerFAIDS system to successfully integrate with other systems through external and internal reporting platforms. Consultants must be able to create dynamic reports to address internal and external needs such as FISAP, Reconciliation, and all other system management tasks and duties. Candidates must have excellent communications skills and demonstrated ability to work independently. Contract assignments can be both short and long term and may include travel. Hours can also vary by assignment.

(HEAG) is actively seeking Financial Aid Consultants to work with our higher education clients throughout the country that utilize the Ellucian Colleague software platform. We are looking for candidates with at least 7 years of recent, direct responsibilities in a Financial Aid Office such as setting up Ellucian Colleague systems for new aid award years. Prior financial aid consulting experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

Consultants must be able to fill interim positions for a diverse base of client schools, with direct knowledge of complex compliance issues. Candidates must be competent and well versed in the compliant administration of Title IV Student Financial Aid Programs and able to manage responsibilities in a strategic, yet functional capacity. Candidates must have strong Ellucian Colleague or other FA Student Information System experience, including Department of Education software.

Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work independently in a mostly remote capacity. We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 5 years of recent, Director-level management and leadership experience in a dynamic, fast-paced Financial Aid Office. Prior financial aid consulting experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

Consultants must be able to fill interim Director level positions for a diverse group of schools, with direct knowledge of complex compliance issues. Candidates must demonstrate competency, be well versed in the administration of Financial Aid Programs and able to manage responsibilities in both strategic and functional capacities. Strong skillsets in Banner, Colleague, PowerFAIDS, Peoplesoft, Jenzabar or other FA Student Information Systems, including Department of Education software is required.

Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills and the ability to manage staff and office needs independently, and in a mostly remote capacity. Candidates must also have the ability to communicate complex compliance issues and other important issues to non-FA staff, including Executives. Contracted assignments can be short or long term and may include travel. Hours can vary by assignment.
