Kianna is a financial aid professional with over seven years of experience in a variety of roles, including Counselor/Consultant, Assistant Director, and interim Associate Director positions in Financial Aid. She has extensive experience in a wide range of areas, including Federal Verifications, Satisfactory Academic Progress, Title IV Disbursement and Reconciliation, Return to Title IV Calculations, Private Loans, Comment Code Resolutions, Policies and Procedures, Packaging, Federal and State Awards, CSS Profile Administration, and File Reviews.

Throughout Kianna’s career in financial aid, she has utilized a broad suite of financial aid software systems, including Ellucian Colleague, Ellucian Banner, Peoplesoft, CAMS, PowerFaids, Jenzabar, CampusView, College Board and the Department of Education applications and websites for administering Federal Student Aid. Her experience with PowerFaids includes importing and exporting ISIRs and managing data transfers. She is proficient in leveraging these systems to streamline financial aid operations and ensure compliance with federal regulations.

She is an active member of NASFAA (National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators) and holds credentials in Application Process and Return to Title IV (R2T4). Throughout her career, Kianna has worked with a diverse range of higher education institutions, including public and private universities, community colleges, and medical and veterinary graduate institutions. She is passionate about helping students overcome financial aid barriers and bringing solution-driven support to every institution she serves.

She received her Bachelor of Science from Bradley University and her MBA from Colorado Technical University.
