Beth Davenport
Beth Davenport has 25 years of experience in the administration of federal student aid, working at both private non-profit and proprietary schools. Her career began as a Financial Aid Counselor and she has more than 16 years of experience as a director. She has extensive knowledge of Title IV regulation. Beth has experience working with undergraduate and graduate students, modular programs, verification, awarding, disbursements, R2T4, SAP, campus-based programs, professional judgment appeals, and compliance and administration of federal, institutional, private, and state aid programs. She is well versed in audit and compliance process, writing policies and procedures, customer service, staff development and student recruitment and retention. Beth has over 20 years of experience working with PowerFAIDS. She is also a proficient user of PowerCampus, NSLDS, COD, and SAIG and is familiar with Slate.
Beth has experience with financial aid leveraging and has consulted with both private and public institutions on how to effectively award their institutional aid to support recruitment goals, manage discount rate and maximize net tuition revenue. She has also served in multiple leadership positions, including President, of IASFAA. She prides herself on mentoring new financial aid professionals. Beth holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Hamilton College and a Master’s degree in Strategic Leadership from Mount Mercy University. Beth is an active member of NASFAA earning her FAAC® Certified Financial Aid Administrator designation, in addition to numerous other credentials.
