Shaundia is an esteemed financial aid professional with over 18 years in higher education experience, working at both private and public institutions. She began her career in 2003 as a Federal Work Study student, working her way up to a financial aid administrator after earning her Associates degree in Business Administration. Shaundia later earned her Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration Management while being promoted to various leadership positions as an Assistant director, Associate director and Director of financial aid. She has strong knowledge base in federal programs, federal compliance, administrative processes and her software systems experience includes PeopleSoft, Powerfaids and Colleague as well as federal systems such as NSLDS, COD and FAA Access to CPS. In addition to providing students and families with excellent customer service, Shaundia is well versed in financial aid processes such as Verification, Professional Judgments, SAR Comment codes, Satisfactory Academic Progress, Student loans and FAFSA completion.

Shaundia also has solid background working collaboratively with other departments in enrollment management such as Admissions, Bursar, Advising and Registrar. Some of her responsibilities include creating and implementing office frontline operations and procedures, hiring and training new financial aid professionals and mentoring department team members and she has also served as a member on many student success committees.
