Roxanne Seymour has been a member of the financial aid industry for the past 22 years. She began her career as a Financial Aid Counselor at a small, two-year non-profit college, worked as an Operations Analyst at a large non-profit university and is currently employed as an Associate Director of Financial Aid at a health sciences institution.

Her background includes processing federal, institutional, and state aid for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degree programs. Her experience includes providing exceptional customer service to students and their families, providing internal guidance and operational support to counselors and staff members, facilitating competitive award calculations for various degree programs, awarding, Federal Direct Loan Program, ELM, Return of Title IV, Satisfactory Academic Progress, service-oriented programs, creating policies and procedures manuals, reconciling data, creating reports, and preparing audit records. She assists with the deployment of a financial literacy course through the publication of electronic materials, coordinating debt management educational sessions, webinars, presentations, and podcasts. She co-authored two articles and co-presented nationally on deploying and interweaving a financial literacy program into a student’s curriculum.

Her system experience includes ALEC, AMP, Blackboard, BPAMS, Canvas, Ellucian Datatel, EMPOWER, Federal Student Aid Programs (CPS, COD, NSLDS), Jenzabar, Peoplesoft, PowerFAIDS, Tableau, and Workday.

Roxanne received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Scranton. She also received a Master of Science in Higher Education at Marywood University. She is currently a third-year resident pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Wilkes University. Roxanne lives in Scranton, Pennsylvania with her husband, Phil, children, Kayla and Jeremy and two dogs, Maximus and Foto.
