Growing to Better Serve You. Sarah Fevig Joins HEAG.

As a full-service financial aid and higher education consulting firm, HEAG is always looking for ways to better serve our schools throughout the US. With this positive growth in mind, we are proud to introduce the newest member of the HEAG team, a systems analyst skilled within PowerFAIDS, Datatel and Jenzabar systems. The addition of another systems analyst strengthens our already “deep bench” of consultants; moreover, allows us to continue working hand-in-hand with our clients to enhance processes and streamline services all while maintaining compliance with ever-changing regulations. Allow us to formally introduce, Sarah Fevig, HEAG Senior Financial Aid Consultant/Systems Analyst.

Senior Financial Aid Consultant/Systems Analyst

Sarah Fevig comes to HEAG with 11 years of experience in both business and higher education. Owning a small business and working in the ups and downs of the construction industry, Sarah comes to higher education and financial aid with a distinctive lens on the business and customer services aspects of financial aid and higher education, and a deep love and appreciation for higher education software systems.

She has served in two Financial Aid Director positions within the Philadelphia area. She is most recently Director of Financial Aid at Chestnut Hill College, where she specializes in sculpting the relationships and information flows between PowerFAIDS and Jenzabar. She has also designed new student financial portal utilizing both the Net Partner Software from PowerFAIDS, and the JICS software from Jenzabar. Prior to Chestnut Hill, she was the Director of Financial Aid at Rosemont College, where she specialized in information flows, financial aid compliance, and collaborative relationships between admissions, registration, financial aid, and the billing office.

She has also served as Director of Service for Student Records and Financial Services at Saint Joseph’s University, where she assisted to build the first cross service team and helped to define the one stop model, with a focus on financial aid compliance and counseling. She crafted and implemented a program to transition the admissions counselors into the role of incoming financial aid counselors and presented on Saint Joseph’s University model on this at PACAC conference in 2014.

In addition to developing and honing great systems training program, Sarah also specializes in financial aid leveraging and utilizing various modules to analyze and predict enrollments. As a graduate from the College Board’s enrollment leadership academy, she brings a broad well-rounded approach to this field, with emphasis on how systems can best be used to meet business and education objectives.
