Lee Bray

Lee Bray serves as the Senior Director of Financial Aid, Veterans Affairs, and Student Resource Centers at Pitt Community College, where she provides strategic leadership focused on student access, success, and support services. A dedicated higher education professional with nearly two decades of experience in financial aid administration, Lee began her career as a Federal Work-Study student while earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Millersville University.

Throughout her career, she has served in progressive leadership roles including Financial Aid Counselor, Assistant Director, and Director, developing extensive expertise in federal compliance, student advocacy, regulatory training, and operational leadership.

Lee is an active leader within the financial aid profession and currently serves as Past President of North Carolina Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators after years of service on the association’s executive board. She is also actively involved with National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators and Southern Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators, where she contributes through committee service, training, and professional development initiatives. Lee is a certified FAAC® and serves as a NASFAA Adjunct Instructor, supporting the growth and development of financial aid professionals nationwide.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Lee now enjoys life in eastern North Carolina, where she spends her free time playing pickleball, traveling and is an avid Taylor Swift fan.
