Alex has over eighteen years of experience in finance, student accounts, and operations management within higher education. Throughout his career, he has led cross-functional teams, improved financial processes, and built systems that strengthen both operational performance and client relationships.

At the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM), Alex served as Assistant Vice President of Student Finance & Operations Management, where he streamlined billing and collections systems, oversaw financial aid and scholarship reconciliation, and developed policies to enhance compliance and accountability. Following the closure of FIDM, Alex gained extensive experience navigating the institutional wind-down process, including financial reconciliation, student record management, and regulatory compliance during the transition period. His leadership is defined by collaboration, strategic problem-solving, and a commitment to operational excellence.
