AnnMarie Kuchenreuther is a Higher Education Professional with extensive experience in Financial Aid, Student Counseling & Advising and Compliance. She has been a Financial Aid Consultant for the Higher Education Assistance Group (HEAG) since 2022. She is a compassionate leader and self-starter. She has a passion for helping students, parents, and staff understand the financial aid process and training financial aid professionals on federal student aid regulations, state programs, and scholarships. AnnMarie began her career in financial aid at a 4-year state college in 2012 as a Financial Aid Specialist and an Interim SAP Coordinator. Then as a Senior Financial Aid Counselor, created training events for internal staff and other departments. As an Assistant Director of Financial Aid, she supervised staff, built COA, created Financial Aid Nights and other student-centered events, training on new verification and awarding processes such as SAI and was responsible for State Programs, Federal Grant and Direct Loan compliance, disbursement and reconciliation, R2T4 calculations, Private Loan Certification and Standards of Academic Progress (SAP).

AnnMarie has also been a point of contact for internal troubleshooting for PowerFAIDS and Campus Logic working alongside IT to streamline financial aid processing and fix software issues. She also has experience with several financial aid software and federal systems: FSA Partners, FAFSA Partner Portal, COD & NSLDS, People Soft, Jenzabar Sonis, Net Partner, ED Express, Cadence Mongoose, Compass, FRANK, OnBase, Salesforce and Anthology.
