RELEASED: Tentative 2013-2014 Campus Based Program Funding

admin ., Federal Student Aid Programs

As of February 1, 2013, tentative funding levels for 2013-2014 Campus-Based Programs were posted on the eCampus-Based Website.  Email notifications were sent directly to the school’s Financial Aid Administrator as listed upon the most recently submitted Fiscal Operations Report and Application to Participate (FISAP), unless this contact has been updated since submission.

To view the tentative funding levels for your school, follow the steps below:

  • Login to the eCB Website.
  • Click ‘Self-Service’ on the top bar.
  • Go to the ‘Campus-Based Notifications for All Available Award Years’ Section.
  • On the ‘Tenative Funding Levels’ bullet, select ‘2013-2014’.
  • The school’s worksheet will appear.

Since the appropriations have not yet been finalized, the tentative funding levels were based solely upon the amounts awarded in 2012-2013.  However, if your institution returned any funds in excess of 10 percent of its Perkins Loan, Federal Work Study (FWS), or Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) allocations then you will see a reduction to your 2013-2014 allocation of this amount.   In addition, if your institution included data on the most recent FISAP for additional campuses that have yet to be granted eligibility, you have until March 1, 2013 to receive an eligibility letter and Program Participation Agreement.  If it is not received, you have until March 4, 2013 to remove all data from the additional campus(es) from the FISAP.

Final funding levels may not be released until April 1, 2013.  Until then, please review your tentative funding levels carefully.  If you have any questions, do not hesitate to call the Campus-Based Call Center at (800) 801-7168, Monday –Friday 8:00am—8:00pm (PT).  Customer Service Representatives are also available via email at CBFOB@ed.gov.
