Marie has over 13 years of experience in the financial aid industry, and she has developed a deep understanding and expertise in this field. At the University of Massachusetts Lowell, she was a work-study student pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice while completing her bachelor’s degree. Upon graduating from college, she began working for Cambridge College as a Financial Aid Administrator. After graduating from college, Marie began working at Cambridge College as a Financial Aid Administrator. In addition to learning how to award and package undergraduate and graduate financial aid, Marie participated in NASFAA University trainings and attended trainings through PowerFAIDS, NAFSSA, and FSA.

Marie has extensive experience working with traditional and non-traditional students, not-for-profit and private institutions, credit hours institutions, certifying Massachusetts State Grants, certifying alternative loans on ElmOne, sending and pulling in ISIR corrections, pell grant reconciliation, disbursing all aid, working with third party billing organizations, and the VA. Her system records are PowerFAIDS, Workday, Jenzabar, ED Connect, College Board, FSA, and COD.
Marie holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice as well as a master’s degree in management and Higher Education Administration. As a financial aid expert, she stays abreast of the latest trends and best practices in order to ensure that her team and institution are always providing exceptional financial aid services and support. As well as running her hair line business on the side, Marie enjoys spending time with her non-verbal autistic daughter.
