She has worked in many roles in Academic and Student Affairs. Her first role as a work-study student at Ivy Tech Community College ignited her love for Financial Aid. As an Assistant Director of Financial Aid, she possesses a strong knowledge of State Grants and scholarships, Verification, Professional Judgments, SAR Comment codes, Satisfactory Academic Progress, Student loans, and FAFSA completion. She enjoys training incoming staff members and assisting students virtually and in person. Her experience as a First-Generation College student and her passion for Financial Aid drives her to provide excellent customer service while explaining the intricate details of the Financial Aid process to parents and students. When faced with multiple deadlines, Josephine excels efficiently.
Josephine has experience with many financial aid related systems such as, Banner, Signal Vine, Tableau, NSLDS, and COD.
