Jim Trimboli has been working in the financial aid industry for 25 years, 20 of which have been spent in the position of Director of Financial Aid at Niagara County Community College in Sanborn, New York. Additionally, he has served as interim Director of Admissions. A graduate of Bryant & Stratton Business College, Medaille College, and Buffalo State College, he holds an Associate’s Degree in Business Management, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Resource Development.

He is also a published author as cited by his work in his 2015 book “A Parent’s Survival Guide to College and Financial Aid” and is also co-author of NASEFAA’s “You’re The Director Guide To Leadership In Student Financial Aid.” He has also presented at national and regional conferences. Jim is a member of “SUNY’s Statewide procurement that provided statewide financial literacy for students and parents. He also served as the past chair of SUNY’s Shared Services-loan Verification Sub-Committee and is a regular featured speaker on Financial Literacy Topics for incoming NCCC’s students and parents, local high schools, civic organizations, and other community sponsored events. Most recently, he was the winner of the NYSFAA”s Region 1 2021 Service Award.
