Andrew has over 12 years of student financial aid experience. He maintains his Financial Aid Administrator Certified (FAAC) status granted by the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators. Mr. Harvey is the Financial Aid Director at Garrett College in western Maryland where he rose through the ranks of the financial aid office. During his tenure at Garrett, Mr. Harvey implemented both the PowerFAIDS system and Jenzabar systems from Regent and CampusCafe respectively.

Andrew is experienced with several financial aid software systems, including College Board PowerFAIDS, JenzabarOne and the U.S. Department of Education’s suite of applications and website for administering Federal Student Aid.
Andrew has been very active on many of the financial aid association’s committees. He was Chair of the Tri-State (DEDCMDASFAA) as well as serving on a plethora of other capacities including: Conference committee, Federal Relations Chair, Neophyte Committee among others since his entrance into financial aid. He has made countless presentations highlighted on his resume at a variety of conferences over the years. He also eats and breathes federal regulation (yes he is a bit of a political junkie). Andrew loves financial aid because no two days are ever the same.Andrew received his Bachelors of Science from Frostburg State University (Frostburg, Maryland) and Masters in Higher Education from Walden University (Minneapolis, MN).
