Joshua Bordis began his higher education career in 2007 at Boston University (BU). Though thriving as a member of their Quality Assurance Team, processing aid and counseling students and their families, Joshua left BU and joined Northern Essex Community College (NECC) in 2009. Currently still serving NECC as the Associate Director of Financial Aid, Joshua develops and manages a strategic communication plan for new and returning students, maintains all day-to-day enrollment services functions, and is the lead Banner integration team member responsible for ensuring that all processes are streamlined and in compliance with federal guidelines and institutional policies. He has expertise in Banner, Excel and Access report writing and database management, Argos reporting software including datablock design, SQL programming language, and all federal financial aid software tools. Joshua earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Political Science with a minor in Economics from Boston University. Joshua serves HEAG in a part-time capacity, bringing his proficiency in higher education, as well as his technological prowess to the clients he serves.
